“At current, the AT&T and Sprint LG Optimus G are not supported by CM10. CM generally waits for manufacturer released Jelly Bean drivers so that time is not wasted engineering drivers that will soon be released anyway.
LGOG and Nexus do not run the same operating system: one is ICS, the other JB. Having access to Nexus updates means being the first to get the latest Android features.
This hack is not the whole answer, but it’s a big step in the right direction for the LGOG. Many people bought LGOG because of the similarly to the Nexus 4 (without the glaring limitations of the Nexus 4). This hack is exactly the kind of hope that many people had for the LGOG.”
